Our 4th of July!

Okay, so I know it has been FOREVVVVVVVER since I posted a new update. I am so sorry about that. We have been keeping very busy and if you were to ask what we have been busy with, all I can say is, life

The beginning of July we went home to Logan for a visit. My awesome sis inlaw was in town with her family from California so what better time to go to Utah, than when we can see her too! It was by far one of our greatest trips down for sure.

Home: Cache Valley, Logan, Utah

The first day we were in Utah I got to hold my new baby niece Amelia! She was a month old and so precious!!

After that we went to visit my Grammy Charyl for her 78th birthday. (Wow, is she really 78 already!?) She is pretty special and important to me. I wouldn't be who or where I am at today without this wonderful woman.

(Her 77th Birthday)

When we finished visiting with her, we took the drive up Logan canyon and over to the famous, Bear Lake! It was the perfect day to sit on the sandy beach and splash in the warm water. It was so good to see my nephews from California and see how much they have grown up since the last time I saw them. My nephew Blake was born in December and it was our first time to see him or hold him. He is such a cute chunk! We had yummy Bear Lake shakes and hung out at our family's camp site.
Bear Lake was so much fun!

The next day was the 3rd of July, the day that they celebrate the 4th in Logan. We spent the morning at the park with my younger sister and her kids. It was so nice catching up with her. We are only 15 months apart, so we were always really close growing up. Her kids look like they grew a foot in just a couple months! I couldn't believe how old they have got. They were always like my kids, before I had kids. :)

After that we went back and hung out at my inlaws until it was time to go to the stadium and watch the fireworks. That was a BLAST!  I was able to hold and cuddle my little nephew TyTy on my lap during the fireworks. I love those little guys! They had a light-show out of Las Vegas, and a little concert with a famous Utah band, Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand. All of the cousins together, having a good time. It couldn't have been any better! That night we had to say our good-byes to Tara and her family. It always goes so quick and is so hard to say good-bye. I adore that family and wish we could be closer and hang out with them all the time!

Isn't my sis inlaw the prettiest!

For the 4th of July we had a really fun day planned with my family. I was actually going to be able to get my sisters all together in one place, for the first time in almost two years! My older sister is kind of like the glue that holds us all together, so of course it was her who had planned a 4th of July BBQ at her house. My mom and three sisters were there, as well as their families. In the process of planning it, my sister and I had said it would be a miracle if we could pull this off, and get everyone in the same place at the same time. It sure was a miracle!! It made my day and made me very happy that they did that for me. We played in the sprinklers and were able to take long awaited family pictures. Our last night there, Jazlynne had a sleepover with her cousin Addy.

Seriously, perfect weekend!! I wanted to freeze time and enjoy being around family. Life has to keep moving forward, but we sure did make some life long memories that I will never forget.
