Happy Birthday Mommy Sue

(Press Play)

This morning I woke up with a heavy heart. Knowing it is the second birthday we have to celebrate with out Mamma Sue with us. Not a single day goes by that she is not in our thoughts, she is irreplaceable to everyone that was lucky enough to know her. It's days like today that make it hard to think about her without getting a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. The things I learned from her in the few short years I had her in my life, are enough to last me a life time. Mom, we miss you, not only today on your Birthday, but every single day. We can't wait for the day when we are able to see you again! Love you dear Mommy Sue!

Baby Jazy is growing up!

Tomorrow begins a new chapter of our lives, our little preemie Jazlynne is starting preschool!! She entered this world 10 weeks early, weighing 2 lbs 1 oz., and has been by my side ever since.

I put off preschool last year because I wanted to spend one more year with her at home, before she starts school. It has been such a wonderful (almost) 5 years with my little partner in crime!

She is so excited to attend ABC Academy and have Miss Tasha for a teacher. She's excited for the friends she will make, and the adventures she will take.

I know it's only three days a week, for 2 and 1/2 hours a day, but I am having a hard time with it. Not for the fact that I will be away from her, but the fact that she's growing up. There is no turning back once she begins school. She will be in school now until she's an adult! There is no getting the time I have had with her back. That's what makes me sad, but also makes me excited for the adventures she will be taking in life. I just hope she keeps a good head on her shoulders, and makes good choices.

This weekend we celebrated by taking her to her favorite place, the Helena Carousel. Today her Daddy gave her a very special Father's Blessing to begin the new school year. A tradition we decided to begin is filming a little bit, at the beginning of each new school year asking her a few questions about herself. I think it will be fun to see over the years how things change, and see how she's grown over the last year.

This is a big change for us to send our first born to school, but we are overwhelmed with joy and can't wait to see all the new things she learns! We love you so much Jazlynne and Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! Good luck this year, and always remember who you are and what you stand for!
